Abstract: The application of technology plays a crucial part in language learning process, which enables teachers to provide an interesting and efficient teaching methodology to gain students’ attention in their study. To be more specific, artificial intelligence (AI) has become an issue which many people feel strongly about in teaching and learning procedure since it can enhance language learning in all levels. In the modern era, there are a variety of applications which can aid teachers and students in their teaching and learning process. Among them, ELSA has gained prevalence among English learners as an effective aid. As a result, the researcher decided to carry out this study to investigate into the extent to which ELSA may influence students’ speaking skill. The targeted subjects of this study include non-majored students at University of Education-Vietnam National University. Action research was conducted in combination of an interview and the results show that ELSA application can increase students’ speaking skill, in which it could help students pronoun various words more easily and comprehensively. Besides, the availability of different features offered by this app such as instant feedback gave students an opportunity to correct their mistakes and pronoun more precisely. To sum up, ELSA can motivate students to engage in their learning, thereby improving their pronunciation effectively.
