Happiness in learning is important in helping learners determine their own learning goals. This article uses the method of reviewing research on academic happiness to find gaps in research and build a theoretical basis for research on the academic happiness of students at Can Tho University. In Vietnam, some studies have paid attention to the feelings of happiness or factors affecting the happiness of students at university. However, these studies have not studied in depth the expression of happiness in students’ learning and the influencing factors. Research on the academic happiness of students at universities is still very limited. On the other hand, research on happiness in learning at Can Tho University is an untapped gap. This article focuses on presenting a summary of research on happiness in learning.
