English for specific purposes (ESP) plays an important role in the curriculum of some post-graduate training majors of the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA). Improving the quality of teaching and learning ESP is a concern of departments and lecturers. However, due to many different reasons, the quality of ESP teaching at the academy is still limited because of some reasons such as: learners’awareness, the ESP curriculum is not scientifically designed, the lecturers lack specialized knowledge, the lack of facilities... The purpose of this study is to present the current situation and offer some solutions to improve the quality of ESP teaching at NAPA.
