English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is a compulsory language subject for non-language students in colleges and universities. Teaching vocabulary in English Specialized in Pharmacy (ESP) has always been a concern to teachers of Hanoi University of Pharmacy, who are regularly faced with difficulties such as curriculum, multi-level students . Therefore, the interest in vocabulary lessons is vitally important for language teachers. The study focuses on the needs and difficulties from pharmacist students, thereby proposing some vocabulary teaching techniques that can bring motivation to non-language students.
