Bài báo này sử dụng các phương phápnghiên cứu thường quy trong thể dục thể thao đểđánh giá thực trạng tổ chức hoạt động các Câu lạcbộ (CLB) Cờ vua trên địa bàn thành phố Huế. Kếtquả nghiên cứu cho thấy, thực trạng tổ chức hoạtđộng của các CLB Cờ vua trên địa bàn thành phốHuế vẫn còn tồn tại một số hạn chế như: tổ chứcquản lý chưa rõ ràng, đội ngũ phát triển CLB cònchưa được đào tạo và bồi dưỡng đầy đủ chuyênmôn Cờ vua, cơ sở vật chất và trang thiết bị phụcvụ cho tập luyện còn thiếu, mức thu học phí cònthấp, việc tổ chức và tham gia các giải thi đấu cáccấp và giải mở rộng còn ít, chưa chú trọng côngtác tuyên truyền quảng bá để phát triển hình ảnhCLB. Từ đó kết quả nghiên cứu làm cơ sở để đềxuất các giải pháp nâng cao hiệu quả hoạt độngcác CLB Cờ vua trên địa bàn thành phố Huế.This article uses routine researchmethods in sports to evaluate the current situationof the activities’ organization of the chess clubsin Hue City. The findings of the research indicatethat there are still certain limitations in thecurrent state of affairs and factors influencingthe organization of chess clubs in Hue City.These include the following: unclear in themanagement structure
the club developmentteam has not received enough instruction andexpertise in chess
there are facilities and trainingequipment shortages
tuition fees remain low
theorganization and participation in open and allleveltournamentsarestillweak
andthereisnofocus on propaganda and promotion to improvethe club’s reputation. From there, suggestionsto improve the operational effectiveness of HueCity’s chess clubs are made using the researchfindings as a foundation.
