Dich vụ công (public service), được hiểu là những hoạt động ra đời để phục vụ nhu cầu, lợi ích cơ bản, thiết yếu của người dân và cộng đồng. Hoạt động của dịch vụ công là nhằm đảm bảo ổn định, công bằng và phát triển xã hội, bảo đảm quyền con người và công dân. Trong điều kiện phát triển kinh tế - xã hội cùng xu thế hội nhập như hiện nay và với quan điểm xây dựng Chính phủ kiến tạo, phục vụ, lấy cá nhân, tổ chức làm trung tâm, dịch vụ công trực tuyến có ý nghĩa vô cùng quan trọng. Bài viết khái quát vai trò và thực trạng dịch công trực tuyến, đề xuất các giải pháp nhằm nâng cao chất lượng dịch vụ công trực tuyến ở Việt Nam hiện nay.Public service is understood as activities that are established to serve the basic, essential needs and interests of the people and the community. The activities of public services aim to ensure stability, fairness, and social development, as well as to guarantee human and citizen rights. In the current conditions of socio-economic development and the trend of integration, and with the viewpoint of building a facilitating and service-oriented government that focuses on individuals and organizations, online public services are of great importance. This article outlines the role and current status of online public services and proposes solutions to improve the quality of online public services in Vietnam today.
