The exploitation and protection of the environment and landscape along the river has received attention f-rom many researchers and authorities in recent decades. In order to improve the efficiency of land use, it is necessary to se-lect a number of suitable positions in the islands and riverside for planning into ecotourist resorts, eco-agricultural areas and public recreation and recreation areas. This makes the regional landscape more and more beautiful and ensures consistentcy with the orientation of general construction planning. The study introduces the method of identifying river bank protection corridors for planning, management and exploitation of riparian landscapes. This method is applied for the case study of Thanh Da peninsula in Saigon River. The research results can be used for competent state management agencies to consider the management and planning of land use according to the right purposes, ensuring the factors of river bank protection to exploit landscape space in the riverside Keywords River Bank erosion (XLBS), Riverbank Safty Corridors (HLAT), Riparian landscape.Việc khai thác và bảo vệ môi trường, không gian cảnh quan dọc sông hiện nay đang được các nước trên thế giới cũng như trong nước quan tâm rất nhiều. Việc lựa chọn một số vị trí phù hợp tại vùng bãi và vùng ven sông để quy hoạch thành các khu du lịch sinh thái, khu nông nghiệp sinh thái, khu vui chơi giải trí công cộng, cải tạo cảnh quan và phát triển đô thị... nhằm nâng cao hiệu quả sử dụng đất, làm cho cảnh quan khu vực ngày càng đẹp hơn là phù hợp, đảm bảo phù hợp với định hướng quy hoạch chung xây dựng đã được nhiều nơi trên thế giới nghiên cứu ứng dụng. Bài báo giới thiệu phương pháp xác định hành lang bảo vệ bờ sông phục vụ quy hoach, quản lý, khai thác cảnh quan ven sông, áp dụng thí điểm cho khu vực bán đảo Thanh Đa, sông Sài Gòn. Với kết quả nghiên cứu có thể làm cơ sở để giúp các cơ quan quản lý nhà nước có thẩm quyền xem xét quản lý, quy hoạch sử dụng đất theo đúng mục đích, đảm bảo yếu tố bảo vệ bờ sông kết hợp với không gian cảnh quan ven sông.
