By studying the university and enterprise cooperation in training vocational skills for students, the research assesses the students’ skills and the needs for cooperation between some enterprises and the Electric Power University. The research then proposes solutions to harmonize the university and enterprise cooperation mechanism and the improvement of vocational skills’ training so as to ensure that graduated students are able to meet requirements of enterprises, socio-economic development, and job generation.Trên cơ sở nghiên cứu sự hợp tác giữa trường đại học và doanh nghiệp trong việc đào tạo kỹ năng nghề cho sinh viên, bài viết khảo sát đánh giá thực trạng kỹ năng nghề của sinh viên và nhu cầu hợp tác của doanh nghiệp đối với Trường Đại học Điện lực, từ đó đề xuất hướng giải quyết hài hòa yếu tố cơ chế hợp tác giữa trường học và doanh nghiệp với đào tạo nâng cao kỹ năng nghề cho sinh viên nhằm đảm bảo sinh viên ra trường đáp ứng yêu cầu của đơn vị tuyển dụng cũng như yêu cầu của sự phát triển kinh tế - xã hội và giải quyết việc làm.
