In Vietnam, there have been many semi-experimental studies with digital simulations on the progressive collapse due to the loss of bearing columns in many residential buildings and apartment buildings, especially reinforced concrete structures. This paper discussed Izzudin’s semi-empirical method of calculating the collapse resistance and its application in Vietnam today.Trong những năm qua ở Việt Nam có nhiều nghiên cứu bán thực nghiệm mô phỏng số về sự sụp đổ lũy tiến do mất cột chịu lực của nhiều công trình nhà dân dụng, khu chung cư, đặc biệt là kết cấu bê tông cốt thép mất khả năng chịu lực gây nên sự sụp đổ lũy tiến, bài viết này sẽ bàn về Phương pháp bán thực nghiệm tính toán sức kháng sụp đổ công trình Izzudin và mô hình đơn giản ở Việt Nam hiện nay.
