In the era of globalization and Industry 4.0, the rapid integration of advanced technologies, evolving tourist demands, and the imperative for sustainable development have driven the emergence of collaborative frameworks in tourism. This study explores the experiences of tourism development linkages in China and Thailand, offering valuable insights for Vietnam. By analyzing Vietnam’s tourism development goals, perspectives, and existing challenges in fostering effective linkages, the paper proposes a range of solutions. These include strengthening public-private partnerships, enhancing regional and destination-level cooperation, promoting inter-sectoral collaborations, and fostering international partnerships to advance Vietnam’s tourism sector sustainably.Trong bối cảnh toàn cầu hóa, sự ứng dụng công nghệ 4.0 vào mọi lĩnh vực, cũng như nhu cầu của khách du lịch ngày càng đa dạng, đòi hỏi của phát triển bền vững làm hình thành nên các mối liên kết phát triển du lịch. Vì vậy, bài nghiên cứu trình bày kết quả nghiên cứu kinh nghiệm liên kết phát triển du lịch của Trung Quốc và Thái Lan, đồng thời dựa trên quan điểm, mục tiêu phát triển du lịch của Việt Nam, những hạn chế trong liên kết phát triển du lịch của Việt Nam, từ đó gợi ý một số giải pháp liên kết phát triển du lịch Việt Nam trên các phương diện liên kết công - tư, liên kết vùng, điểm đến du lịch, liên kết ngành, liên kết quốc tế trong phát triển du lịch.
