Hệ thống hóa các công bố quốc tế phân tích về hiệu quả kinh doanh của các ngân hàng thương mại, thống kê và đánh giá theo các tác giả, tổ chức và quốc gia có ảnh hưởng lớn nhất thông qua phương pháp trắc lượng thư mục bằng phần mềm VOSviewer trên nền tảng cơ sở dữ liệu của OpenAlex. Kết quả cho thấy các nghiên cứu về hiệu quả kinh doanh của ngân hàng thương mại bắt đầu từ năm 1941 và tăng dần từ năm 2007, tăng mạnh từ 2015 và số lượng đạt đỉnh vào năm 2023 (142 bài). Tác giả có ảnh hưởng lớn nhất là David L.Deephouse và cộng sự (2000) với 902 lượt trích dẫn. Willy Muturi là tác giả có số lượng nghiên cứu nhiều nhất (11 bài viết). Hai trường đại học là Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture và Mount Kenya University là tổ chức có nhiều nghiên cứu. Kenya cũng đồng thời là quốc gia có số lượng nghiên cứu dẫn đầu với 190 công bố, trong khi Mỹ là quốc gia có tầm ảnh hưởng với các nghiên cứu lớn nhất (1550 lượt trích dẫn). Nghiên cứu đã giới thiệu một công cụ giúp các học giả có thể sử dụng để phục vụ thu thập tài liệu với số lượng phong phú, tin cậy và truy cập mở.The purpose of this study is to systematize international publications analyzing the business performance of commercial banks, statistics and assessments according to the most influential authors, organizations and countries through through bibliometric method using VOSviewer software on OpenAlex database platform. The results show that studies on the business efficiency of commercial banks started in 1941 and gradually increased since 2007, increased sharply from 2015 and the number peaked in 2023 (142 articles). The most influential author is David L. Deephouse et al (2000) with 902 citations. Willy Muturi is the author with the most research (11 articles). The two universities, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Mount Kenya University, are research-intensive institutions. Kenya is also the country with the leading number of research publications with 190 publications, while the US is the country with the largest research influence (1550 citations). This study has provided a comprehensive picture of the history of research works on this topic in the world. The research has introduced a tool that scholars can use to collect documents in abundant, reliable and open access quantities.
