Agricultural cooperatives play an important role in implementing the goal of restructuring the agricultural sector towards increasing added value and sustainable development. In recent years, the State has had many preferential policies for agricultural cooperatives to develop, especially tax policies. However, many cooperatives have not taken advantage of this preferential policy, because the capacity to manage finances in general and organize accounting work in particular in cooperatives is still limited. The article provides a general analysis of the current state of accounting work organization. Thereby, we propose solutions to improve the organization of accounting work in agricultural cooperatives.Hợp tác xã nông nghiệp có vai trò quan trọng trong thực hiện mục tiêu cơ cấu ngành Nông nghiệp theo hướng nâng cao giá trị gia tăng và phát triển bền vững. Trong những năm qua, Nhà nước đã có nhiều chính sách ưu đãi cho các hợp tác xã nông nghiệp phát triển, đặc biệt là chính sách thuế. Tuy nhiên, nhiều HTX chưa tận dụng được chính sách ưu đãi này, bởi năng lực quản lý tài chính nói chung và tổ chức công tác kế toán nói riêng trong các hợp tác xã còn nhiều hạn chế. Bài viết phân tích khái quát về thực trạng tổ chức công tác kế toán. Qua đó, đề xuất giải pháp hoàn thiện tổ chức công tác kế toán trong trong các hợp tác xã nông nghiệp.
