The issue of resource restrictions and pollution caused by waste from construction is a significant concern in numerous countries. The circular economy is regarded as an appropriate way to minimize resource utilization and mitigate environmental contamination, ultimately contributing to the objective of achieving sustainable development. Nevertheless, the implementation of the concepts of the circular economy in investment projects aimed at constructing road traffic infrastructure continues to be restricted by several limits, primarily stemming from cost-related concerns. This study formulates equations to assess the economic efficacy of implementing circular economy principles in road traffic construction investment projects with the aim of achieving sustainable development. The analytical hierarchy approach (AHP) is specifically employed to assess the weights that influence the level of circularity in the project life cycle. The premise of perfect circularity serves as the foundation for decision-making and analyzing the economic aspects of implementing initiatives aimed at transitioning to a circular economy. Based on that assumption, several projects are examined to assess the possibility of implementing the approach.Vấn đề khan hiếm tài nguyên thiên nhiên và ô nhiễm chất thải xây dựng đang là vấn đề lớn của nhiều quốc gia. Kinh tế tuần hoàn được xem như một giải pháp để giảm lượng tài nguyên tiêu thụ và giảm ô nhiễm môi trường hướng đến mục tiêu phát triển bền vững. Tuy nhiên, việc triển khai áp dụng kinh tế tuần hoàn vào các dự án đầu tư xây dựng cơ sở hạ tầng giao thông đường bộ còn nhiều hạn chế, đặc biệt do vấn đề chi phí. Nghiên cứu này xây dựng các công thức đánh giá hiệu quả kinh tế của việc ứng dụng kinh tế tuần hoàn trong các dự án đầu tư xây dựng công trình giao thông (CTGT) đường bộ hướng tới mục tiêu phát triển bền vững. Trong đó, phương pháp phân tích thứ bậc (AHP) được sử dụng để đánh giá trọng số ảnh hưởng tới mức độ tuần hoàn của vòng đời dự án và giả định về việc tuần hoàn hoàn hảo được sử dụng làm căn cứ để đưa ra đánh giá về tính kinh tế khi phát triển các hoạt động hướng tới kinh tế tuần
