Mục tiêu yêu cầu giáo dục đào tạo của các Trường Công an nhân dân nói chung và Trường Đại học Cảnh sát nhân dân nói riêng là đào tạo ra lực lượng vững vàng về chính trị, giỏi về pháp luật và tinh thông nghiệp vụ. Trong điều kiện xã hội mở và đầy biến động như hiện nay thì nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo các môn Lý luận Chính trị là nhiệm vụ đặc biệt quan trọng và đó cũng chính là hành động tuân theo quy luật phát triển.
