To determine the awareness rate of stroke risk factors and warning signs, and related factors in hypertensive patients. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 234 hypertensive patients treated at the Cardiovascular Department, C Hospital, Da Nang, from October 2021 to May 2021. Results: The rates of adequate awareness of stroke risk factors and warning signs in hypertensive patients were 52.6% and 50.4%, respectively. There were statistically significant correlations (p <
0.05) between awareness of these factors and patient characteristics such as age, gender, occupation, and education level. Conclusion: Awareness of stroke risk factors and warning signs was moderate. Patients and their families need to improve their knowledge of these critical factors.Xác định tỉ lệ nhận thức về yếu tố nguy cơ, dấu hiệu cảnh báo đột quỵ não và một số yếu tố liên quan ở người bệnh tăng huyết áp. Phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu cắt ngang mô tả thực hiện trên 234 người bệnh tăng huyết áp đang điều trị tại khoa Nội Tim mạch bệnh viện C Đà Nẵng trong thời gian từ tháng 10/2021 đến 5/2021. Kết quả: Tỉ lệ nhận thức đạt về các yếu tố nguy cơ và dấu hiệu cảnh báo đột quỵ não ở người bệnh tăng huyết áp lần lượt là 52,60% và 50,4%. Có mối liên quan có ý nghĩa thống kê với p <
0,05 giữa tuổi, giới tính, nghề nghiệp, trình độ học vấn với nhận thức về các yếu tố nguy cơ và dấu hiệu cảnh báo đột quỵ não. Kết luận: Tỷ lệ nhận thức đạt về yếu tố nguy cơ và dấu hiệu cảnh báo chỉ ở mức trung bình. Người bệnh và thân nhân cần phải nâng cao nhận thức về yếu tố nguy cơ và dấu hiệu cảnh báo này.
