Đánh giá được tác dụng tăng trí nhớ của loài Panax vietnamensis var. fuscidiscus (sâm Lai Châu) trên mô hình gây sa sút trí nhớ bằng scopolamin ở động vật thực nghiệm. Đối tượng và phương pháp: sâm Lai Châu Panax vietnamensis var. fuscidiscus (gồm thân rễ và rễ) được nghiên cứu tác dụng tăng trí nhớ trên mô hình gây sa sút trí nhớ bằng scopolamin ở chuột nhắt thực hiện test né tránh thụ động, test mê lộ chữ Y và test môi trường mở. Kết quả: sâm Lai Châu làm tăng trí nhớ ngắn hạn và dài hạn ở chuột nhắt trắng trên mô hình gây sa sút trí nhớ bằng scopolamin ở liều tương đương lâm sàng 5 g/ngày và 10 g/ngày. Kết luận: sâm Lai Châu thể hiện cả tác dụng tăng trí nhớ ngắn hạn và dài hạn ở mô hình nghiên cứu.To evaluate the memoryenhancing effect of Panax vietnamensis var. fuscidiscus on the scopolamine-induced memory impainment model in mice. Subjects and methods: Panax vietnamensis var. fuscidiscus (including rhizoma and root) was studied for its memory-enhancing effects on the scopolamine model of dementia in mice performing passive avoidance test, Y-maze test and open environment test. Results: Panax vietnamensis var. fuscidiscus increased short-term and longterm memory in mice using a dementia model using scopolamine at clinically equivalent doses of 5 g/day and 10 g/day. Conclusion: Panax vietnamensis var. fuscidiscus shows both shortterm and long-term memory enhancing effects in the research model.
