Excitement plays an extremely important role in motivating elementary students to learn and explore the world around them and motivate students to learn science. Elementary school students are less interested and have many difficulties when learning abstract content such as knowledge about energy. This research develops STEAM topics in which students acquire knowledge about energy through designing, manufacturing, testing, adjusting, and improving scientific toys. Initial experimental results show that the developed topics are feasible and create interest in learning science for students, thereby demonstrating that the development of scientific capacity through toy-making activities for primary school students is promising.
