Based on the theory of the inquiry-based learning, the lesson objectives and contents, and the requirements stated in the 2018 Literature Curriculum, this paper proposes teaching methods following the inquiry-based learning approach to support teachers in improving the effectiveness of teaching Grade 10 Literature. First, the paper outlines the rationale for proposing teaching methods based on the characteristics of inquiry-based learning and the 2018 Literature Curriculum, as well as the current situation of teaching Grade 10 Literature Topics. Subsequently, the paper proposes teaching methods following the inquiry-based learning approach for Topic 10.3 “Reading, writing, and introducing a poetry collection, a short story collection, or a novel”.
