The principal plays a significant role in managing the professional development of secondary and high school teachers’ capacity to organize experiential activities and orienting their career. Based on the characteristics, requirements, and content of these activities, the principal needs to proactively manage and develop teachers’ abilities to meet the demands of fostering students’ qualities and competencies, effectively achieve the educational goals of each level, contributing to the successful implementation of educational reform in their locality. By assessing the current state of managing the professional development for organizing experiential and career-oriented activities for teachers at Newton Secondary and High School in Hanoi, in accordance with the 2018 national education program, this article proposes measures to enhance the effectiveness of this activity.
