In elementary school, to develop speaking and writing skills, students are required to have a rich vocabulary, and the ability to use words appropriate to the context is an important factor. To write good paragraphs and essays, students must use many rhetorical devices, in which personification helps make the text more vivid and rich in images. In the 2018 GDT program, personification is focused on developing language in lessons so that students can accumulate vocabulary by thinking associatively. Developing students’ thinking ability helps students actively use descriptive words rich in images. This innovation helps students be sharp in thinking. This is shown not only in the curriculum but also in real life.
