Teamwork is a term derived from “team” and “work”, denoting the collaboration and joint effort of a group towards a shared objective. While teamwork has been prevalent throughout history, it has gained even more prominence in the contemporary industrial and business landscape. Practical observation reveals that modern, forward-thinking businesses highly value individuals with strong teamwork skills during recruitment. This is because students imbued with a cooperative ethos not only foster enduring relationships but also enhance personal organizational abilities, leading to more systematic and meticulous work arrangements. Consequently, universities nationwide now consider organizing teamwork activities for students as a vital component of their educational mission, crucial for nurturing and empowering future workforce for society and the nation. Within the context of this article, the author refers to three important factors influencing the effectiveness of teamwork in the current phase. Based on this, a proposed solution is suggested to enhance the effectiveness of teamwork for university students.
