This study explores the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education management, focusing on opportunities, challenges, and influencing factors. Using qualitative research methods, combining semi-structured interviews with 20 subjects and analyzing 50 documents, the study indicates that AI offers opportunities to improve management efficiency and enhance the learning experience. However, the implementation of AI also faces challenges related to personal data protection and ensuring transparency. The results emphasize the importance of legal, ethical, and organizational strategy factors in the successful implementation of AI. The study proposes developing a comprehensive AI strategy, investing in human resource training, establishing clear legal frameworks, and promoting cooperation among stakeholders. Future research directions include assessing the long-term impact of AI and developing evaluation models for effectiveness. In conclusion, the application of AI in higher education management requires a comprehensive approach that balances technological, organizational, ethical, and legal aspects.
