Research aims: to evaluate the results of laparoscopy for perforation of peptic ulcer. Patient and method: 22 patients with perforated peptic ulcer treated by laparoscopic from 7/2009 to 9/2010 in Viet-Tiep Friendship Hospital. 20/22 are men, 2/22 are women. The average of age is 45.13, oldest is 66, smallest is 16 Results: 22 patients, Success in 22 cases, but 1 cases digestive bleeding. The mean operating time was 81.14 + or - 28.23 minutes. Mean digestive tract was revovered time: 35.86 + or -19.16 hours. Average hospital stay of laparoscopy was 4.61 days. Surgical infection sites was 0 percent. Mortality rate: 0 percent. Conclusions: Laparoscopy is safe, effective. Advantages include a very low incident of septic complications, and a comfortable postoperative recovery.
