This paper explores the potential, effectiveness, and challenges of AI applications in language teaching. AI enables personalized learning experiences, immediate feedback, and interactive learning environments, thereby enhancing students’ language acquisition and engagement. However, the increasing reliance on technology, ethical concerns related to privacy, and the changing role of educators present significant challenges that need to be addressed.
