The genetic map was constructed to cover 97 SSR markers with the total distance 993.2 cM and the average distance between two markers was 10.24 cM. 12 QTLs were detected, among them 5 QTLs were relative to LDS located on chromosomes 1,3,8,9,10 comprising: qDroughtLDS-l-DT, qDroughtWS-3DT, qDroughtWS-8-DT, qDroughtWS-9-DT, qDroughtLDS-10-DT with flanking markers: RM01201RM08148, RM03441-RM05140, RM04955-RM07013, RM01896-RM05657, RM05352-RM03123. 7 QTLs were relative to DLR located on chromosomes 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10 comprising qDroughtDLR-l-DT, qDroughtDLR-1-DT, qDroughtDLR-3-DT, qDroughtDLR-6-DT, qDroughtDLR-8-DT, qDroughtDLR-9-DTand qDroughtDLR10-DT with flanking markers RM01201-RM08148, RM03642-RM03304, RM03441-RM05140, RM06782RM06926, RM01789-RM04955, RM04692-RM06460, RM05352-RM03123. The qDroughtWS-l-DT and qDroughtDLR-l-DT,. qDroughtLDS-3-DTand qDroughtDLR-3-DT,. qDroughtWS-10-DTand qDroughtDLR10-DT had the same flanking markers, they are: RM01201-RM08148, RM03441-RM05140, RM05352RM03123. Two QTL: qDroughtWS-9-DT and qDroughtDLR-9-DT located on chromose 9 having the largest LOD and phenotypic variation. The qDroughtWS-l-DT, DroughtWS-8-DTand qDroughtDLR-8DThad the additive efficency is positive, thus allens which increased the drought resistance came from the cultivar LC93-1 and other QTLs had the allens came from the cultivar Khang Dan 18.
