In the advanced mathematics curriculum for economics and engineering students at universities, the content of linear systems of equations is highly emphasized due to its applicability in solving specialized problems within the students' fields of study. Therefore, identifying appropriate teaching methods and content to achieve effective outcomes is always a current issue. Based on survey results regarding the difficulties students face when solving problems related to the analysis of solutions for linear systems of equations, this paper offers several suggestions to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning linear systems of equations for students in economics and engineering disciplines.
