This study focuses on assessing the current state of vocabulary development for 3-4 year old children through outdoor activities in kindergartens in Binh Tan district, Ho Chi Minh City. Through a survey of 149 participants, including 120 teachers and 29 managers, the research clarifies the perceptions of teachers and managers about the importance of vocabulary development, the advantages of outdoor activities, as well as objectives, tasks, methods and organizational forms. The results show high consensus between teachers and managers on many aspects of this process, while also pointing out some difficulties that need to be overcome. The study provides an important practical basis for proposing measures to improve the effectiveness of vocabulary development for 3-4 year old children through outdoor activities in kindergartens in the area.
