This study aims at studying and ana lysing both the inpatient documents in General Hospitals of Kim Boi and Tan Lac and the patient transfer documents of these hospitals to Hoa Binh General Hospital during the three years (2006-2008). Based on the analysing the annual reports of these hospitals, the authors identified the numbers of inpatients in the following years is higher than the previous years, the average number of inpatient in Kim Boi General Hospital is 9,191 per year and in Tan Lac General Hospital is 7,192 per year. Most of the patients belong to Muong minority (about 78.4 percent to 86.42 percent), the patients are at the age of 16 to 59 estimated at 61 percent to 66.9 percent, the numbers of patient who has health insurance cards is about 54.14 percent to 57.20 percent, the poor patients are at the highest rate, which figure of 74.2 percent to 75 percent. The average percentage of transfer patients of each year is about 5.17 percent each year in Tan Lac General Hospital and 10.2 percent each year in Kim Boi General Hospital. the percentage of using the beds in the hospitals is about 124.6 percent and 143.5 percent each year
the time of inpatient treatment is about 5.03 to 5.5 days. The numbers of testing, operating, diagnosing of the following years is usually higher than the previous years.
