The quality of pipe tobacco grown at localities in Hai Phong very different and Tien Lang distric's pipe tobacco products have been protected geographical indication. Experiments on the effects of soil to yield and quality of pipe tobacco was conducted in spring 2011 for the Re Den variety. The results show that, for tobacco, grown on different soil types, the quality is very clear difference. 'Ihe difference in the quality of drugs is due to differences in levels of the drug substance in the fiber, particularly levels of nicotine, sugar. Nicotine levels are correlated closely with the content of substances in soil, especially nitrogen (r = 0.978), content of omanic matter (OM) (r = 0.791), potassium digestion (r = 0.849). Land targets in Tien Ling is the highest . In contrast, levels of nicotine in tabacco products is correlated inversely with soil pH (r= 0.466).
