Bacterial infections involving the skin is one of the most common skin diseases among patients at Quy Hoa National Leprosy and Dermatology Hospital. From July 2009 to December 201 0, the authors isolated 599 of bacterial strains in total of 1003 samples from cutaneous infection patients. The study showed that the impetigo has the highest cutaneous infections (86.4 percent) and the second was the follicular infection (77.4 percent). The Staphylococcus aureus was the highest cause of cutaneous infections (97.9 percent). Amikacin was the highest sensitively antibiotic to staphylococcus aureus (97.9 percent) then vancomycin (95.9 percent), oxacillin and bactrim were the same a good effect (80.1 percent). Staphylococcus was resistance to erythromycin (80.1 percent), clindamycin (76.8 percent) and gentamycin (59.4 percent). Antibiotics are still good effect to pseudomonas are ceftazidim, gentamycin, and ciprofloxacin. Pseudomonas begin to resist to imipenem (16.7 percent). Streptoccocus spp. are resistance to erythromycin and chloramphenicol with the same rate is 56.3 percent. Antibiotics that seem to good effect on treating streptoccocus are vancomycin and ceftriaxone.
