Innovation in teaching methods is an inevitable need of teachers, because innovation is creativity, restructuring of knowledge to improve the effectiveness of education to achieve training goals. This article presents the theoretical basis and effectiveness of innovation in teaching methods of Economic and Legal Education at Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School, Hanoi National University of Education, Ha Nam province. On that basis, it proposes orientations and introduces some teaching methods to promote the positivity and initiative of high school students when studying and learning this subject.
