This study evaluates the effectiveness and challenges of technology integration in English classrooms at Vietnamese universities. Using mixed methods, including surveys of 30 teachers and 200 students, and interviews with 10 experienced teachers, the research found that 85% of teachers use technology weekly. Vocabulary applications are most popular (70% of teachers, 90% of students). Benefits include increased motivation and engagement. Challenges encompass lack of teacher training (67%), extended preparation time (57%), and student distraction (62%). The study proposes strategies to optimize technology use, including comprehensive training, infrastructure improvements, and policy development. Findings provide insights to enhance technology integration in English education in Vietnam.
