In Vietnam National Dengue control program, using insecticide and wiping-out larvae are two of methods that may help interrupt the spreading of dengue outbreaks. The main insecticides using in National Dengue program are Permethrine, Deltamethrine va Malathion. In 2010 and 2011, Hantox-200 (Deltamethrin 3 percent) was chosen as the insecticide for control the spreding of Dengue outbreaks in the Dengue control program. Therefore, evaluating the resistance capacity of dengue mosquitoes with Permethrine, Deltamethrine va Malathion in 10 Northern provinces and determining of insecticide susceptibility of Hantox-200 (Deltamethrine 3 percent) on Aedes are main purposes of this research. The result showed that, Deltalmethrin and Permethrin have good efficacy in Aedes mosquitoes in all most of study sites in 10 Northern provinces except Thinh Liet, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi. The insecticide- resistant population of Aedes with Malathion was recorded in most of study sites. In Nghe an, Thanh hoa, Ha tinh and Namdinh provinces, Hantox with concentrate 1:9 liters water had effective to control mosquitoes. In Hanoi, insecticide-resistant was recorded in mosquito population with concentration 1/9
when raising the concentration up to 1/6, mortality proportion was 95 percent after 24 hours (good efficacy), when raising the concentration until 1/5, mortality proportion was 100 percent. Hantox-200 was not cause of allergic in skin and mucous membrance of interviewers, was not harm to animals and environment.
