In primary and secondary schools, homeroom teachers are considered as the core nucleus in the process of education and the development of students’ personalities. In addition to doing well in their professional duties during class hours, homeroom teachers often have to organize other educational activities, pay attention to each student, and take care of their moral developments, behaviors, and psychological changes. The homeroom teacher also plays the role of an advisor for students in organizing classroom activities, extracurricular activities, and providing guidance for students before they transition to the next grade level. This article suggests some effective solutions that homeroom teachers can use in teaching process to train social skills for students, especially in The Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization activities.
