Background: Skin diseases may be much involved in toxic waste of liver. Particularly, skin diseases may become more serious when liver is damaged and enzyme level increases. Aim: Surveillance on change of liver enzymes of some skin diseases at Khanh Hoa venereology dermatology hospital. Subject and research method: 300 skin patients who are recommended to take test on liver enzymes. Blood is split of serum and analyzed with RA50 Bic-chemical machine. Results: 42.3 percent of skin patients have liver enzymes level higher than normal level. Diseases such as psoriasis (60.9 percent), eczema (70.9 percent) have higher percentage of increasing liver enzymes level in comparison with other diseases. This reveals that skin diseases are more or less related to intenal diseases. Patients, who take medicines and take more western medicines, have higher liver enzyme leve (45,8 percent). This shows that taking medicine without supervision cannot control disease situation but. affect negatively more or less on patients' disease. Conclusion: Diseases such as psoriasis and eczema have higher percentage of increasing liver enzymes compared with other diseases. It's necessary to pay attention to liver enzym level of these diseases in order to choose proper treatments.
