52 strains of Bacillus were isolated from the samples of sludge in intensive shrimp ponds of Bac lieu. As a result, nine strains of Bacillus were selected. All selected Bacillus strains the active enzyme (protease, cellulase, and amylase). The strains BL10, BL25 and BL47 were chosen for the usage in sludge treatment in intensive shrimp ponds. The classification of these strains basing on their morphological, biochemical characteristics and 165 rRNA sequence indicated that Strain BL10 is 99 percent similar to Bacillus subtilis subsp strain DSM 10 (NR 027552.1)
strain BL25 is 100 percent similar to the Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain NBRC (NR 041455.1) and strain BL47 is 99 percent similar to the Bacillus lichenilonnis strain SL2 (GQl84581.1). The experimental treatment of sludge ponds in the laboratory showed that after 14 days the three selected strains of Bacillus effectively reduced the amount of the highest sediment The level of mud in the combination of three Bacterial strains BL10, BL25 and BL47 was reduced by 3.25 percent as opposed to control sample after 14 days experiment.
