Study 60 patients with diabetes type 2, averaged age was 55.0 + or - 8.7 and 30 control subjects with averaged age of 58.4 + or - 9.3. The aim of the study was to evaluate performance index of the right ventricle and the relationship with time of disease and hypertension in diabetes mellitus type 2 patients. The result showed that RV Tei index increased in both groups, but Tei RV in the diabete type 2 group was 0.59 + or - 0.39, which was higher than that in the control group (0.38 + or - 0.15). There was no significant relation between Tei R.V with time of desease and hypertension state in the diabete mellitus type 2 group.
