The research was conducted on 60 healthy male white mice, aged 8-10 weeks, and weighted 20-30 g. The aim of study was to assess the learning ability and memory in animals injected with drugs affecting glutamatergic system (ketamine). Animals were divided into two groups. A control group consisted of 30 mice injected. with NaCI 0.9 percent dosed 10 ml/ kg/day for 14 consecutive days. An experimental group of 30 mice injected with ketamine dosed 20 mg/kg/day for 14 consecutive days. The results showed that traveled distance and swimming time since mice placed in a water maze to find the platform as well as the time to find food in a food maze were shorten over time. However, those in the control group reduced gradually and faster, while those of the ketamine group were unstable and decreased more slowly.
