Tram (MelaJeuca cajuputi Powell) is tree of Myrtaceae family, grow on wet soils and is characterized species on wetlands and distributed in Tram Chim National Park. The study on carbon accumulation in the National Park to provide the infonnation about carbon of MelaJeuca forest. Calculate the carbon stock of MelaJeuca through the carbon parts of the tree on the above ground. 40 trees has cut, combined with the analysis of the percentage of carbon in the plant parts to establish the equations of biomass and carbon with D12. Carbon equations with diameter of individual trees is Ctotal = 0.066*D12.1267. Designed and measured in 42 plots of 100 m2 in size. Research results showed that the average carbon accumulation was 98.01 + or - 11.02 t/ha, in which trunk have the highest carbon accumulation was 66.44 + or - 7.72 t/ha, branches parts was 16.35 + or - 1.73 t/ a, the bark was 10.9 + or - 1.15 t/ha and the lowest carbon of leaf sections was 4.32 + or - 0.43 tons/ha. Carbon accumulation in plants by 44.8 percent of the total dry biomass and 17.7 percent of the total fresh biomass. Results of the research will provide infonnation to calculate the payment for forest environmental services in the future.
