Lexical conjunction and substitution conjunction are present in the vast majority of textbook texts. Lexical conjunction plays an important role in creating connections between sentences and paragraphs in textbook texts. In the process of creating a text, these two conjunctions (combined with other conjunctions) always intertwine and support each other to form a complete text. Researching Lexical Coupling and Substitutive Coupling forms basic knowledge for students that is the foundation to help students access lexical linking and substituting linking, creating a premise for them to learn.
