The vision of a robust Vietnamese nation will be realized through the historical mission of youth and students, which aligns with the strategic goal of “The wealthy citizens, bold nation, democracy, justice and civilization.” In order to contribute to the formation of generations of students with principles, morals, personalities and gorgeous lifestyles, along with providing and transmitting knowledge and experience, politically active and ideological education and arousing the desire to contribute to them are considered one of the essential assignments, towards the goal of comprehensive human development to master the destiny and future of the country. In light of the demands of the nation’s rapidly accelerating industrialization and modernization and the process of improving international integration, the article offers five potential solutions to improve the effectiveness of digital transformation in completing this work. These solutions are based on an analysis of the significance and meaning of the current state of political and ideological education for students and an assessment of its current status.
