Language development is one of the core tasks of early childhood education, which must start at a very early stage, a means to help educate children comprehensively to bring life values and promote children’s learning potential. This study aims to assess the current status of language development activities for 5-6-year-old children in preschools in Tay Ninh City, Tay Ninh Province. A survey of 287 preschool administrators and teachers using questionnaires and interviews showed. The findings provide a practical basis for managers to develop measures to improve the quality of language development activities in preschools, particularly by strengthening activities that prepare children for entering first grade.
