This article presents method and results of studying on influence of some main technological parameters such as the glue-drying temprature, the pressure and press time on the upper/outsole bond strength after glueing and after bending 40,000 cycles in the air environment at temperatura 45 + or - 2oC. In this work, the Box-Wilson method and the Design Expert6.0 software are used to design experiment and treat the experimental data. The respective mathematical models between the three technology parameters and the upper/outsole bond strength after glueing and after bending were established. From that, the optimal technological parameters were determined: glue-drying temprature 85oC, the pressure 0.35 Mpa and the press time 20 s. That give the upper/outsole bond strength of protective footwear after glueing 5.033 N/mm and after bending 5.2131 N/mm, it is suitable for using in the hard and hot environment of steel industry.
