Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is an endemic disease in Vietnam. There were 61 deaths out of 69,854 reported cases in 2011. The study has retrospectively investigated all 61 deaths with results indicate: most ot the deaths occurred in the South of Vietnam (96.7 percent), predominantly in children under 15 years old (74 percent). Going to hospital is one of the important cause to lead deaths for DF/DHF, about 70 percent of deaths was to go there after 4 days onset. Some major hemorrhagic manifestations are: hepatomegaly (69.9 percent), petechia (55.7 percent), epistaxis (27.9 percent), blood in vomitus (21.3 percent)...
