Mesoporous materials MCM-41 the authors re synthesized via hydrothermal treatment by using the cationic co-surfactant cetyltrimethyammonium bromide (CTAB) and silica source as tetraethosysilane (TEOS), tetramethosysilane (TMOS),... In this paper, MCM-41 was prepared by using silica source from rice husk. the authors further study the effect of the elements in the material synthesis process. The obtained samples were characterized by different techniques such as XRD, BET, TEM and thermal analysis methods. The results showed that, MCM-41 sample with a CTAB/SiO2 molar ratio of 0.106
pH in region 10.61 to 11.50 and for 24 hours hydrothermal treatment has highly ordered hexagonal mesostructure with large pore size and large surface area.
