The authors carried out TACE (Transcatheter Aterial Chemo-Embolization) for 23 patients, who were suffered from HCC (Hepato-Cellular Carcinoma) with 34 times of embolization. The results are as following: The diameter of tumors are decreased. The hypervascularity in tumors are relative with serum AFP level and level of Lipiodol deposition. Some serum biochemical index as GOT, GPT and Bilirubin are decresed but not significant statistically. Postembolization syndrome is in short time. Mean survival time is 15,25 + or - 9,04 months. Life standard quality is improved. Conclusion: TACE is a good method in order to cure for HCC patients. It is longer survival time and life standard quality is improve.
