In the context of the industrial revolution 4.0 along with the explosion of science and technology, artificial intelligence (AI) has contributed to solving many problems in society, especially in the process of scientific research. However, the application of AI to students’ scientific research is still quite new, has not been approached and used effectively in recent years. The situation of students taking advantage of AI to cheat on plagiarism, write essays, and violate scientific integrity is becoming more and more serious. Within the scope of this article, the authors focus on analyzing the current situation of AI application in the scientific research process of students, thereby making some recommendations for solutions that contribute to supporting students to continue completing research works that bring high application value to society.
