In the trend of globalization, English has become an important tool not only for communication but also for accessing specialized knowledge, especially in the fields of engineering, economics, information technology, and medicine. Teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) at universities aims to meet this need, helping students equip themselves with language skills to integrate into the global working environment. However, the implementation of teaching English for specific purposes in many universities still faces many difficulties. This article will focus on analyzing the current situation and at the same time providing solutions to improve the quality of ESP teaching in the university environment, based on domestic and foreign research.
