Based on the secondary data collection on student entrepreneurship in the Mekong Delta region and Việt Nam, the article employs qualitative analysis methods to synthesize information and SWOT matrix to evaluate the current status of student entrepreneurship in the Mekong Delta region, find the factors influencing students' entrepreneurial intentions and propose solutions to promote student entrepreneurship. Through the study, the author has proposed 5 solutions to promote student entrepreneurship, including: i) Enhancing students' entrepreneurial spirit and intentions
ii) Assisting students in accessing support policies to register intellectual property rights for new products/services
iii) Connecting students with business startup ideas to venture capital firms
iv) Enhancing knowledge provision and counseling for student entrepreneurship
v) Establishing an ecosystem to support student entrepreneurship.Trên cơ sở thu thập dữ liệu thứ cấp về khởi nghiệp của sinh viên vùng đồng bằng sông Cửu Long và cả nước, bài viết sử dụng phương pháp phân tích định tính để tổng hợp thông tin và phân tích SWOT nhằm mục đích đánh giá thực trạng khởi nghiệp của sinh viên vùng đồng bằng sông Cửu Long, tìm hiểu những yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến ý định khởi nghiệp của sinh viên và đề xuất giải pháp thúc đẩy sinh viên khởi nghiệp. Qua nghiên cứu, tác giả đã đề xuất 5 giải pháp thúc đẩy sinh viên khởi nghiệp, bao gồm: i) Nâng cao tinh thần, ý định khởi nghiệp của sinh viên
ii) Trợ giúp sinh viên tiếp cận chính sách hỗ trợ để đăng ký quyền sở hữu trí tuệ cho sản phẩm/dịch vụ mới
iii) Kết nối sinh viên có những ý tưởng khởi sự kinh doanh với những doanh nghiệp cấp vốn
iv) Tăng cường cung cấp kiến thức, tư vấn cho sinh viên khởi nghiệp
v) Hình thành hệ sinh thái hỗ trợ sinh viên khởi nghiệp.
