Speaking skill is an important part of the language curriculum and speaking activities have their own assessment. According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the learner’s level description is C2, C1, B2, B1, A2, A1 and at the end of module I, the learner’s level will reach A2. During Speaking class, students are mostly passive, only writing and speaking little. After Speaking class, they do not know how to apply knowledge in specific situations. The article proposes to apply some measures to teach speaking skill through application activities to effectively improve English speaking ability and make students feel easier and more spontaneous in this subject.
